Tomatoes

Today we went to the Tomato Festival. Did you know there are hundreds of varieties? They come in various shapes, sizes and colors. We saw Strawberry Tomatoes (big as pears but shaped like a strawberry), Sweet Peas (pea size in yellow and red - so cute), Accordions (hard to describe - rippled?). I wish I had taken my camera. I'll have to start carrying it around with me all the time. This was on the main street in downtown Fairfield so we took the opportunity to check out the store fronts. There were a few empty ones that are possible sites for our new business. We'll check them out this week. This is a whole new way of thinking for me. It's going to take a little getting used to.
